"On a return trip to the farmhouse, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, I painted with watercolor. This home holds so many stories, like the 1959 Cold War visit to the Garst Farm by Soviet Premier Khrushchev. I felt like I could hear serious and spirited conversations echoing everywhere."
